Your #merrittcountryrun organizing committee members are also runners! Here they are at the #bmovanmarathon #halfmarathon.

Come run with us in Merritt on June 14!

The Merritt Country Run has a race for everyone! Want to get your kids involved but not sure they're ready to tackle the 5km? No worries! We have a Twice Around the Track option thats perfect for those who enjoy running but are not into the longer distances!

The Twice Around the Track option is 400m long and located at Voght Park. Voght Park is also where the 5km, 10km, and half marathon will be starting and finishing so after you finish your race you can cheer on other runners as they cross the finish line! The Country Run Expo featuring many local businesses will also be located at  Voght Park so there will be lots to check out!

Volunteers are the lifeblood of the Merritt Country Run because without them there could not be a run!

Volunteers needed for all of the following:

  • Running the water stations
  • Cheer leading

  • Post race clean up
  • Course patrol (bike or motor bike)

  • First Aid

If you add all that up it comes to about 75 people.  If you are interested, follow the link listed below and click on the "volunteer" button on the left hand side of the webpage.

The Merritt Country Run has chosen to support Camp Tulahead this year. Camp Tulahead is an amazing summer experience for children’s and teens. Camps have a positive impact on young lives. They help children grow, teach lifelong skills and give them all kinds of tools to succeed in life.
